This page collects 181 live radio stations playing folk, from 53 countries. The busiest are Radio Armisa, Radyo Şiran, Blasmusikradio mit Bernd, WDR 5. Each stream was checked before publishing, so the stations here actually play.
Most folk stations come from Albania (17), Greece (13), Serbia (13), United States (11), Bulgaria (9). They broadcast mainly in english, albanian, serbian.
43 of them stream in high quality, which is worth choosing if you are listening on speakers rather than a phone.
Listening to folk from different countries is one of the more interesting things internet radio makes possible: the same genre is programmed differently in each place, from the songs chosen to how much talking sits between them.
