Where do the song titles come from?
From your own stream: most stations send the current title inside the audio (ICY metadata). We read it every couple of minutes. If your stream sends no titles, the widget says so instead of making them up.
Does it slow my site down?
No. The script is about 5 KB, loads asynchronously, asks for one small JSON file per minute and only while the tab is visible. Your site’s styles and ours don’t mix.
What does it cost?
Nothing. In return the widget keeps a small visible link to your station’s page on Tunewide. Please don’t remove it — without it the widget is just a picture.
